Olde Time Winter Solstice Celebration

This year, we'll be holding a very special Winter Solstice Celebration in the style of days gone by.

A seasonal workshop in Taylor Hall, with Valya Lupescu, and a hands-on project. Pagan holiday carols, a ritual featuring a toast of gratitude to the ancestors, the deities of the season, and to each other - a tribute to Santa, and best wishes for a healthy, happy, prosperous Tribe, and a peaceful world as we move through the Longest Night and as the days slowly begin to lengthen.

There will be a turkey dinner feast with all the trimmings - (vegetarian friendly options too)!Bring a bottle of mead or wine, and a dessert to share!! (Opportunity to show-off here!)

Please bring a gift wrapped book for our book exchange. It can be gently used. If you would like to bring an extra, gift wrapped book for a child, we will be collecting them for victims of domestic violence at the Waukesha Womens Center.

The cost is $40.00 per person, which includes dinner and all activities. Children under 10 are free. Lunch is not provided so bring a snack or something to tide you over. Reservations are accepted on a first come first served basis.

If you would like to vend your wares for last minute holiday shoppers please continue to the Registration page and fill out the application there.

You MUST pre-register so we know how much food to have the kitchen prepare. If you are registering for more than one person, please just let us know the names of the people who are coming in the notes section on the registration form.

We'll be at Dekoven Center, in Taylor Hall. Think Hogwarts...

All are welcome!!
