Earth Traditions Presents: A Winter Solstice Celebration

Join us in historical Taylor Hall, at the beautiful Dekoven Retreat Center in Racine, WI, for an old fashioned Yuletide celebration. Grab a steaming mug of hot cider and some homemade cookies. Attend a seasonal workshop or head for the library to join the children for storytelling. Sit in the glow of family and Tribe or do some last minute shopping at our Holiday Bazaar!

There will be a workshop, a ritual, feasting, caroling, and a special Rite of Passage; a Croning for beloved community member, Autumn Amber. All are welcome!!

Things to Bring:

  1. Bring a pot luck dish to share. Enough to feed all those in your group. You are welcome to bring chips, dips, or desserts in addition to your main meal contribution.
  2. Bring an item for exchange at our holiday market. Something you no longer need that might find a new home and bring a smile.
  3. Do some extra last minute holiday shopping with our holiday merchants. Original artwork and prints, handcrafted items, and other delights. The Dekoven Gift Shoppe will also be open. You'll be surprised at what you find there!
  4. Bring a toy or a canned good for donation to a less fortunate family. (Optional)

The cost is $15.00 per person - children under 16 are free. No pre-registration required although we would love for you to indicate you're coming on our Facebook page!
